Jazz On Tap is a weekend dance festival for dancers ages 8+, packed full of master classes from captivating instructors and performances from dance studios, pre-professional companies, and professional companies. The festival began in the hopes of bringing the fire and excitement of live dance to the public and over the years dancers have traveled to Georgia from 20+ states to add their spark to the flame.

Musical Theatre

Liberty graduated in 2009 with a BFA in musical theatre from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Since then she has been performing, teaching, and choreographing professionally across the country. Her most notable credits include the first national tour of Legally Blonde: The Musical, Harmony (written by Barry Manilow, performing in the Atlanta and Los Angeles premieres), and choreographing the Shuler Awards, the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards in both 2015 and 2016 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center, among many others.

Leaps & Turns, Jazz

Dre Lakin approaches each class as a new opportunity to connect with dancers of all ages. With impeccable technical training and huge passion, Dre inspires her students to be the best they can be with honesty and integrity. Dre's career began as a Radio City Rockette at age 18 and only grew from there. Her credits include CATS National Tour, Good Morning America, MTV Breakthrough, The Elan Awards, PBS, Thanksgiving Day Parade, “Guiding Light”, Tyler Perry’s “Meet The Browns”, “Stomp The Yard 2” and commercials for Avis, Nike, and The Cartoon Network. She's also worked on shows at Paper Mill Playhouse, South Bay CLO, & The Court Theater in L.A. Dre is in process of developing curriculum for Injury Prevention for Convention Dancers. Areas of study include: The Psychology Of An Injury, Pain Relief Through Meditation, Personality Type & How It Affects Your Training, Training Through Growth Spurts, Cross Training For Dancers, Attitude & How It Affects Your Recovery, and Preventing Emotional Injury In The Young Dancer. Dre is currently on faculty at Xcel Studios & Kennesaw State University, and travels all over the U.S. teaching with Industry Experience Dance Convention.

Jay hails from Chicago and is amongst the most sought after Tap Masters in the industry today. After completing two years with OKCU in its artist in residency program, Mr. Fagan is once again touring with festivals, workshops, and conventions. His polished performances have been seen by the President of the United States, at the Kupio Dance Festival in Finland, Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, Canadas Windsor Casino Showroom, and Las Vegas’ Flamingo, Luxor and Suncoast hotels. Jay has worked with DEA, DMA, CNADM, Dance Olympus, Starquest, The Kansas Tap Festival, Southeast Tap Explosion, Third Coast Rhythm Project and the Chicago Human Rhythm Project.

Jazz, African Fusion

Justin S. M. Bryant (Atlanta, Ga) has taught classes and performed around the globe. Justin spent many years of his career performing with dance companies such as Eleone Dance Theater, Dancefusion, The Smoke, Lilies, and Jade Arts Initiative, The American Repertory Ballet Company, and PHILADANCO - The Philadelphia Dance Company. Mr. Bryant became the Co-Artistic Director of The Smoke, Lilies, and Jade Arts Initiative in 2012. Throughout his career he has worked with legendary choreographers; Jamie King, Twyla Tharp, Marguerite Derricks and many more. He has sung with American Idol's Clay Aiken and danced for country artist Wynonna Judd. Mr. Bryant has been seen in the original stage play “My Brother Marvin,” directed by Clifton Powell. He was also a featured actor in the film Tango Macbeth directed by Nadine Patterson. Justin has had one of his greatest choreographic works, "Mrs. Yearning" celebrated in the 2012 International Exhibition of Videodance of San Carlos Festival. Another proud moment was being featured on the cover of Philadelphia Where Magazine and in Dance Magazine. Throughout his training he received full scholarships to The Ailey School, The Rock School for Ballet Education, and a “Full Director’s Talent Scholarship” from The University of the Arts. Recently Mr. Bryant has moved to the west coast, chosen by Frank Gatson Jr. (Beyonce's Artistic Director) to perform in the legendary, longest running Vegas show, Jubilee and then went on to perform in the #1 Cirque du Soleil show, Michael Jackson ONE. Mr. Bryant has most recently been seen in the hit show Hamilton – American Musical on Broadway.

Noëlle Davé was born and raised in Sumter, South Carolina. She is a graduate of East Carolina University where she received her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. During her time at ECU, she worked with choreographers David Ingram, Danielle Sheather, Michel Kouakou, John Dixon, Tommi Galaska, Teal Darkenwald, Micah Geyer, and Joe Cotler.  She also performed in repertory piece, Standing in Tears, staged by Koresh Dance company members. Noëlle has been a featured soloist in BalaSole Dance Company’s 2018 NYC season where she performed at the Ailey Citigroup Theatre in New York. She has choreographed numerous works, including a piece that was selected to perform at the regional American College Dance Association. She has also completed a residency under David Ingram with Fort Wayne Ballet where she performed in Fort Wayne Ballet, Too! with the company.  Noëlle is currently a moving artist with gloATL in Atlanta, GA where she recently finished a six-week residency at the High Museum of Art. She loves to take on innovative learning opportunities to grow in her artistry and explore new ways of thinking and moving.

Hip Hop


Stephen “Stevo” Jones, native of Augusta Georgia, was inspired and trained by his father in Russian and Cecchetti ballet over 15 years. In 2003, Stephen moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue a dance career in pop/hip hop entertainment.  Atlanta proved to be an excellent jump start for this venture allowing him to perform all over the world and on major networks and motion pictures.  After gathering many dance credits, Stephen became a heavy hitter in the artist development field as well as gathering some strong choreography credits. In 2011 Stephen relocated to Los Angeles to switch back into dance gear full time.  He got right to work booking 3 out of his first 4 big auditions, most notably landing the lead antagonist role Jasper Tarik in Lionsgate’s Step Up All In.  Now residing back in Atlanta, Stephen focuses majorly on his music management company, DJ company and dance studio.  Stephen can still be found performing, choreographing and teaching all over the US and abroad.




Jazz On Tap is an annual festival consisting of dance master classes and performances.



-In 2021, the festivals will take place at the lovely Infinite Energy Theater in Gwinnett, GA. 

-COVID-19 safety measures will be a top priority, including temp checks, required masks, separated dressing spaces, socially distanced audience seating and sanitizing stations.

-The cost to perform is $80 per piece.

-There is a maximum of 6 pieces per studio per show. No solos, duos, or trios.

-After you register the amount of dances you'd like to perform, your FESTIVAL TECH FORM for each piece is due by January 15th, 2021. 

-Master class tickets go on sale January 1st, 2021 and will be $25/class

-Performance ticket pricing is as follows:

--Adult tickets: $25 (plus venue fees)
