DANCEFEST'S CONTEMPORARY WINTER WORKSHOP INSTRUCTORS
Anna Foshee graduated from The University of Alabama with a B.A in Dance and a minor in Social Work. After UA, Anna joined Sanspointe Dance Company (SDC) and has been with the company since 2009. After performing with the company in multiple site-specific works, company tours and concert projects, Anna was named Artistic Director of SDC in 2015. Anna is a working dancer, teacher and choreographer throughout the state of Alabama. She is an adjunct professor of dance at Samford University and The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Anna will be focusing on a Modern-based approach to her Contemporary classes.
Chase Hudson grew up dancing in South Carolina. He currently attends Pace University in New York City and choreographs for several studios throughout the nation. He will be focusing on a Commercial Contemporary style for our Contemporary Winter Workshop.
Allison Gupton has been teaching Contemporary in the greater-Atlanta area for the past 10 years. She graduated from Pebblebrook High School, the Cobb County Center for Excellence in Performing Arts, and later, The University of Alabama with a B.A. in Dance and Public Relations. She is the proud Owner and Director of DanceFest Productions, Inc. and its events. Allison is excited to tap into her classic ballet training for an amazing Contemporary Ballet experience.
